Girl Raises Money To Bring Team From Haiti To U.S.
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- An American girl raised money so a group of young women soccer players from Haiti could compete in a tournament at Disney World.
Each one of the girls who traveled to Orlando to compete in an international tournament were practicing when the 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck their island nation on June 12.
Each girl was affected by the earthquake and has a story of survival.
"I am tremendously blessed. here alive. I was not injured; I'm not dead," Coby Alexandra said in Creole.
